D.J. MacHale, L’auteur
Donald James (D.J.) MacHale est un écrivain, réalisateur, producteur exécutif et créateur de plusieurs séries télévisées populaires et de films.
Il a grandi à Greenwich, CT et est diplômé de Greenwich High School. Même si à l'école, il a eu plusieurs emplois, y compris la collecte des oeufs dans un élevage agricole, la gravure de trophées sportifs, et laver la vaisselle dans une rôtisserie ... entre deux il jouait au football. D.J.a ensuite été à l'Université de New York où il a obtenu un baccalauréat en production cinématographique.
Sa carrière cinématographique a commencé à New York, où il a travaillé comme pigiste / réalisateur, réalisant des vidéos et des émissions de télévision. Il a également enseigné la photographie et la production cinématographique.
D.J. a aussi brillé dans le secteur des divertissements en écrivant plusieurs ABC Afterschool Specials. Après avoir déménagé à Los Angeles, il a fait beaucoup de films, passant de l'information, au divertissement. En tant que co-créateur de la série populaireNickelodeon: Are You Afraid Of The Dark? , il a produit 91 épisodes pendant 8 ans. Il a écrit et réalisé de nombreux épisodes incluant The Tale Cutter's Treasure avec Charles S. Dutton. Il a été nommé pour un prix Gemini pour avoir diriger Le Récit de la soupe dangereuse ,avec Neve Campbell.
D.J. a également écrit et réalisé le film La Tour de la Terreur pour ABC's Wonderful World de Disney mettant en vedette Kirsten Dunst et Steve Guttenberg. La série de Showtime, Chris Cross ,a été conjointement créée, écrite et produite par D.J. Elle a reçu le prix CableAce de Meilleure Série pour la Jeunesse.
D.J. a conjointement créé et produit la série de Discovery Kids, Flight 29 Down, pour laquelle il écrit tous les épisodes et en dirige plusieurs. Ses travaux sur Flight 29 Down lui a valu la nomination pour Writers Guild of America et Directors Guild of America .
Cette série de tomes: Pendragon - Journal d'une aventure à travers le temps et l'espace marque D.J. d 'abord comme un romancier. Il prévoit pour cette série d'aventures pour la jeunesse un total de 10 tomes.
D.J. vit dans le sud de la Californie avec son épouse et sa fille Evangeline et sa fille Keaton. Ils sont de fervents randonneurs, plongeurs, et skieurs. Ils ont aussi un Golden Retriever, Maggie, et un chaton, Kaboodle.
Anniversaire: 11 Mars, comme Bobby.

Malheureusement, je ne parle pas très bien l'anglais mais j'aimerais vous dire que Bobby Pendragon est un livre...Génial (avec un grand G)!!!
Il faut vraiment avoir beaucoup d'imagination pour créer un livre comme celui-ci, je suis seulement au chapitre 3: "la guerre qui n'existait pas" mais je suis déjà plongée dans l'univers de Bobby Pendragon!
